Visit the Meridiana Wine Estate which lies scenically below the ancient, walled city of Mdina.
The tour commences with an explanation about the Estates, the characteristics of the Meridiana Winery and the quality of the wines produced. This is followed by a wine tasting of 2 different Meridiana DOK wines accompanied by a selection of local savouries which include Maltese ftira, gbejniet, bigilla and galletti.
Winery Tours are offered on weekdays from Monday to Friday. The duration of the tour is approximately 2 hours including transfers from The Grand Hotel Excelsior to the Winery estate and back.
